The weather leading up to the weekend wasn't very good for the track and
racing on Saturday had to be transferred to Monday because of the track
conditions. On Monday the track surface was not suitable for the sidechairs
but we are negotiating a new date to run this feature.



Ministocks

A good field of ministocks raced for opening day with a clean sweep of the
results by 7C Glen Redmond. Bryden Stewart was the next highest on points
and this is his first season in the adult ministocks after being in the
youth class for some years. Another first time adult ministock driver 9GM
Vinny Spafford-Parsons finished well in 4th place.



1st 7C Glen Redmond 30 points

2nd 66GM Bryden Stewart 24 points

3rd 8C Steven Gwatkin 22 points



Stock Cars

This will be a good season for Stock car events this year with the Stock Car
grand prix being held early next year.

First equal after today's racing was 11GM Tony Stanton and 43GM Jason Smith
followed one point behind by 99GM Cleve Kokshoorn who took out first place
in the first two races but did not finish the last rounf.



1st = 11GM Tony Stanton 17 points

1st = 43GM Jason Smith 17 points

3rd 99GM Cleve Kokshoorn 16 points



TQs

James Thompson is again back racing and showed he has not lost his touch
with 3 first places giving him first place with 4N James Nicholson in 2nd
pace with 3 second placings.

2nd 4N James Nicholson 12 points

3rd 48GM Atama Holland 8 points
