Mainland Ministocks 27th October 07
The Recreation Hotel Mainland Ministocks was held on Saturday with a good field of 16 cars.
This event was run over three heats and was the usual tough tussle between the top competitors.
The first and second places in each heat were well fought by the first three places getters but Glen Redmond succeeded in winning two first placings giving him a twp point advantage over second place Allan Meaclem.
Third place went to Ben Jacobs from Christchurch.
1 - 65 GM Glen Redmond 45 points
2 - 8 GM Allan Meaclem 43 points
3 - 41 C Ben Jacobs 40 points
4 - 36 C Shannon Evans 37 points
5= 83 C Shane Olsen 33 points
5= 10 C Bob Roper 33 points
A good field of 12 stock cars took to the track and provided several exciting spills during the day. Dave Terris was the winner of this class with two firsts and one second placing. Second place went to Dave Kokshoorn with one first, one second and 1 fourth placing.

2 - 88 GM Dave Kokshoorn 32 points
3 - 33 GM Jason Tasker 27 points
A close tussle in the Youth Ministocks between Jayden Gerrard and Sean Brown. These two are showing more skills each time they race as are the other youth competitors.

2 - 14 GM Sean Brown 21 points
3 - 36 C Callum Evans 19 points
Darryl Foster came over from Christchurch to take out the Production Saloon class this week. He had a clean sweep of the races with three first placings.
1 - 96 C Darryl Foster 21 points
2 - 15 GM Rob Mazey 15 points
3 - 22 GM Corey Shearer 13 points
Three modifieds this week but they still put on a crowd pleasing display of racing.
