Two seater minisprint - 24th November 07

A great days racing and entertainment after an uncertain start on Saturday morning. Heavy rain initially indicated a postponement but the weather cleared and racing was on again.
The two seater sprint car sponsor's draw was won by Coleraine Motels and included a helicopter ride from Scenicland Helicopters.
Unfortunately the sprint car developed a fault and was not able to complete the event. This will now be held at a later date.

Other classes racing were:

Youth Ministocks:
One point separated Sean Brown and Jayden Gerrard on Saturday. Brown won two firsts and 1 second and Gerrard got one first and two seconds.

1 14 GM Sean Brown 20 points
2 48 GM Jayden Gerrard 19 points
3 73 GM Alex Wilson-Daily 11 points

Production Saloons:
Tight racing from the Production Saloons and some tight encounters with the wall for some.
Points are close in this class and it could be anyone of many picking up the club points trophy at the end of the year.

1 - 22 GM Corey Shearer 24 points
2 - 15 GM Rob Mazey 19 points
3 - 95 GM Mike Harris 18 points

Modified:
Modified racing is always fast and impressive as usual and we suspect a few track records have fallen over the last meetings.

1 - 7 GM Steve Thompson 11 points
2 - 32 GM Iain Whyte 9 points
3 - 33 GM Robbie Brown 6 points

Stock Cars:
Dave Terris and Dave Kokshoorn were the only two to finish the three races on Saturday and took out the all the first and second places between them.

1 - 88 GM Dave Kokshoorn 26 points
2 - 48 GM Dave Terris 25 points
3= 5 GM Guy Stewart 12 points
3= 10 N Andrew Quy 12 points
3= 99 GM Cleve Kokshoorn 12 points

Ministocks:
Glen Redmond and Allan Meaclem ruled this class last season but there is strong competition from Steve Bellis and other new comers for the points this season.

1 - 65 GM Glen Redmond 26 points
2= 8 GM Allan Meaclem 21 points
2= 22 GM Steve Bellis 21 points
